For over a decade, FCHA has received High Performer designation by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); HUD’s objective scoring systems affirm FCHA’s proven capability to ensure program integrity and accountability.

FCHA currently owns and/or operates 800 units of affordable housing, administers 1,169 Housing Choice Vouchers and partners with local agencies to provide comprehensive support services for our residents.

FCHA is committed to energy efficiency and incorporates green building best practices into its property development and rehab projects. Several developments, the Village on Elizabeth Street, the Village on Stanford Road, and Redtail Ponds have received awards from housing and environmental organizations on the local, state and national levels for being a model of sustainability in affordable housing.

Increasing the availability of affordable housing in and near the City of Fort Collins is a priority for FCHAy.

Our current projects in development are:

Village on Redwood

Located in north Fort Collins, off of Conifer Street, this new development will offer 72 apartment and townhouse-style homes.

Construction began in March 2016 and will be completed by June 2017.

Leasing will begin in Spring 2017 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Village on Horsetooth

Village on Horsetooth

This proposed development, located at 1506 W Horsetooth Road, will provide 96 apartments and townhouse-style homes. It will include a community clubhouse and onsite property manager and will be designed to meet high level environmental and neighborhood standards.
